When Jasmine first set new targets with Coach Brad, her primary goal was simple: to lose weight and improve her body composition. Fast forward to the present, and her results speak for themselves.
Over a 12-week period, has:

Jasmine committed to 4x a week of strength training, following a structured program designed to help her lose fat while building muscle. This training, paired with macronutrient targets, allowed her to lose fat while maintaining lean mass—an essential factor for long-term health and fitness.
Using DEXA Scans for Accurate, Data-Driven Results
To track her body composition progress more accurately, Jasmine used DEXA scans. While her weight loss occurred over 12 weeks, her DEXA scans were conducted 8 weeks apart, giving a snapshot of her body composition changes during that period.
In her most recent DEXA scan, Jasmine saw impressive results, showing a reduction in fat mass and an improvement in overall body composition. During the 8-week period between the scans, she achieved:
- A 1.7% reduction in total body fat.
- A total fat mass reduction of around 2.1kg.
- Improved lean mass maintenance, which is crucial for both metabolic health and long-term body composition goals.
Focus on Fat Loss and Strength Preservation
Jasmine’s goal was to reduce fat mass while maintaining as much of her strength as possible. Focusing on health was also a priority. In her previous DEXA scan taken 8 weeks ago, her visceral fat (fat surrounding internal organs) was measured at 50.4 and decreased to 46.8. This reduction in visceral fat is particularly significant for improving long-term health and reducing the risk of metabolic diseases.
Jasmine wasn’t just focused on losing weight—she aimed to improve her body composition by reducing fat while preserving strength. This approach has paid off. Her results show not only fat loss but also significant improvements in her overall health and body composition.
